AIDREP Participant Code of Conduct
To ensure a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment, all participants enrolled in an Alberta Impaired Drivers Remedial Education Program (AIDREP) course are expected to comply with the following Code of Conduct.
Respectful Behaviour
Participants must treat fellow participants, facilitators, contractors, venue staff, and AIDREP employees with courtesy and respect at all times.
The following behaviours are not permitted:
- Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or threatening behaviour
- Disruptive conduct that interferes with learning
- Abusive, offensive, or inappropriate language
- Recording course activities, participants, or facilitators without permission
Participation Requirements
Participants are expected to:
- Attend the course for its full duration
- Arrive on time and return promptly from breaks
- Participate respectfully in course activities and discussions
- Follow facilitator instructions and venue rules
Failure to meet participation requirements may result in removal from the course and may require re-registration at the participant’s expense.
Substance Use
Participants must not attend a course while impaired by alcohol, cannabis, illegal substances, or any medication that significantly affects their ability to participate safely.
AMA reserves the right to remove any participant who appears impaired or whose behaviour compromises the learning environment.
Virtual Course Requirements
For virtual courses, participants must:
- Join from a private and distraction-free location
- Maintain required attendance and participation standards
- Use their own registered name when joining the session
- Comply with any technology requirements communicated before the course
Removal from Course
AMA reserves the right to remove any participant who violates this Code of Conduct.
Removal from a course does not automatically entitle the participant to a refund, transfer, or rescheduling option.
